Pipeline to Justice:
CUNY Law School's Paradigm Shift

CUNY Law School has devised a program to diversify their student body without bending the standards. Applicants who do not meet their LSAT standard are retrained, and those who achieve an adequate score are guaranteed a seat in the class. The class is co-taught by our Founder and the Associate Dean of CUNY Law School.

Binary Solution was selected as the sole provider for the LSAT retraining program for the following reasons (taken  directly from th letter of agreement between Binary Solution & CUNY Law School):

Justification of sole source
: Eva Lana is the only person who can deliver the services and materials required. Although there are many other commerical LSAT preparation courses, the Binary Solution materials are the only ones that fit the philosophy and delivery requirements of CUNY School of Law's Pipeline to Justice Course for the following reasons:

(1)It is the only course that was designed to use the LSAT preparation process as a foundation for legal reasoning and analysis skills, (
2)It is the only course that uses a single Casebook (patterned on law school casebooks) as its materials (3) It is the only course that uses law school pedagogy in its content and delivery (4) It is the only course in which all the materials, including those annotated and developed in the classroom, are available digitally to the students

Last year, the majority of the Pipeline students made the cut-off and are now attending CUNY Law School. This cohort may repsresent the first controlled study of demonstrable LSAT score improvements in academia (as everyone in the sample had an official score on record).  This year, we are aiming to do better and expect the results to be publicized as part of a study on LSAT score improvement.
